1. For image testing of PSD compatibility, download free Zip file with the pictures of two birds.
When you extract (unzip) contents of the zip file, you will be able to see the picture of two little birds which will be in the PSD format. Open the image in your program for photos (PSD) and if you can see the birds, follow the text instruction on the image, then you will find out if you have a program that is compatible.
2. The difference between the JPG and PSD format or extension.
The picture on the right, of two little birds on this page is in the format of jpg and it looks the same as psd image in the zip, except that the psd image is made up of more then one layer. When you open the image in the compatible program you will be able to move the birds, up or down, change the text colour, size, delete any layer you wish and much more... The user must be familiar with the software to be able to manipulate the psd bird image or text.
2a. Razlika izmedju formata JPG i PSD
Slika sa pticama na desnoj strani je jpg format i naizgled je ista kao i psd format, osim, sto slika psd je sastavljena sa vise slika u slojevima. Svaki sloj slike moze da se manipulise po volji. Kad otvorite u vasem programu slike za PSD format, koje je su bile u zipu i umogucnosti ste da odstranite jednu od ptica ili da izmenite tekst, font, boju ili velicinu teksta i da sacuvate sliku u psd formatu, znaci da imate kompatibilan program za psd format. Ko ima program za upotrebu psd slike, treba da je upoznat sa radom softvera da bi se mogle navedene radnje primeniti.
