New minister in our bush district

New to our bush district, our minister asked a parishioner to show him around the area. After a harrowing drive along muddy tracks, the minister's car slid across the road into a ditch. With both men OK the shaken minister asked his passenger, "Should we pray?"
The parishioner grumbled, "how do you think we got this far?"

Report to the local police

Our neighbor had enough of kids jumping over her fence and damaging her garden, so she decided to make a report to the local police about it. "Did you recognise any of them?" a police officer asked.
"I'm pretty certain that one of them is called Niki." she replied. "How can you be so sure?"
"It was embroidered on his Top," my neighbor replied.
The young officer thought for a while then asked her to spell it.
"N,I,K,E," she replied confidently.

How come he gets the job

Rob and Tom apply for the same job. They take a written test. "You Both got the same number of questions wrong," the HR person tells them.
"But Rob gets the job."
"If we both got the same number of questions wrong, how come he gets the job?" Tom asked Indignantly.
"Well," says the HR person, "one of his incorrect answers was better then yours."
"Whoa, how can that be?"
"For problem No 46, Robe wrote, 'I don't know.' You wrote,' Me neither,' "
