They are
: fence, catalyst, run, frozen, speckle, brass, orange, planet, silicone, socket.
When I bought my small old house, built out of stone,
I was told of unusual encounters when sky shone.
Previous owner warned me, keep your place locked hard,
When noise and wind would sweep through the yard.
So I've build around my small house a huge fence,
For any unusual happening I would hide hence.
From some strange events or from any catalyst,
I was told this is where it happens I'll be the fatalist.
Yes, one day I saw a strange occurrence, I didn't run.
Believe me, what I've witnessed, it was great fun.
As I watched for while, I was stunned, stiff, frozen,
Above me, smaller clouds were forming, all brazen.
Down came from heaven a cloud of raining speckle,
I heard this strange noisy sound, crackle, crackle.
The lovely, shiny flakes turning to balls of brass,
Kept falling down on my green carpet of grass.
Then, it changed it's orange colour and size,
Some flecks were silver other gold, it was a surprise.
Gold fruit, nothing like it anywhere on this planet,
Next, I was picking golden strawberries in the punnet.
But suddenly, gold turned to black liquid, it began to trickle,
A minute a go I was rich, yet now I don't have a nickel.
I thought filling the gaps in the punnet with silicone,
Yet again cloud changed shape and the colour tone.
What a wonderful surprise, now it's diamonds galore,
Suddenly the punnet is not big enough for the gems to store.
I found the bucket, it was overflowing in no time at all,
I think that I will enjoy the rest of my life, I'll have a ball.
I've taken the bucket inside my diminished, petty house.
It was shabby, dwarfish, being inside I felt like a mouse.
I need coffee, I plugged my kettle cord into the socket,
As I was thinking of diamond bracelet and golden locket.
Suddenly I heard ringing, recognizing the telephone tone,
I jumped, picked it up and realized something was gone...
Wrong number, I slammed the receiver, awaken ungraciously,
I stupidly believed every bit of the dream so foolishly.
